'I Am Solo' Season 28 Youngja and Youngchul officially announce divorce... break up without marriage registration

Youngja and Youngchul, contestants of the 28th season of ″I Am Solo,″ announced their divorce. Youngja revealed through her SNS on the 31st of last month that she had ended her relationship with Youngchul. Youngja stated on SNS that they had not registered their marriage and had been managing their living and financial responsibilities separately, so there were no assets or financial issues to settle. She also said she would not comment further on the process or reasons for their breakup. The two appeared on SBS Plus and ENA’s ″I Am Solo″ 28th season divorced special last year and developed a real romantic relationship. They moved up their wedding date due to a premarital pregnancy but suffered a miscarriage during the preparation. They held a wedding ceremony in January this year without registering their marriage. Recently, rumors of divorce arose when Youngja deleted photos with Youngchul from her SNS, and Youngja herself confirmed the divorce. Meanwhile, on the March 17 broadcast of tvN STORY’s ″Lee Hoseon Counseling Center,″ the two revealed that they had repeatedly experienced conflicts and breakups since their dating days. Youngja said that trust was broken due to rumors of Youngchul’s infidelity and that she had no knowledge of his financial situation. She also confessed that she did not feel assured by her husband’s ambiguous reaction during her pregnancy. Youngja and Youngchul each have one child. Youngja is raising her 14-year-old son, and Youngchul has an 11-year-old son who is not in his custody.
