Lim Young Woong donated 2 million KRW, the prize money from the July Seonhan Star King Competition, to the Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation to support the treatment of children and adolescents suffering from pediatric cancer, leukemia, and rare incurable diseases. On the 3rd, the Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation announced that it received 2 million KRW from the July Seonhan Star King Competition prize money in the name of Lim Young Woong. With this donation, the total amount donated by Lim Young Woong through Seonhan Star has reached 132.05 million KRW. The donation will be fully used to support care and treatment expenses for patients under 19 years old suffering from pediatric cancer, leukemia, and rare incurable diseases. This program was established to assist families of patients facing difficulties due to caregiving costs, living expenses, and food expenses incurred during long-term treatment. Hong Seung-yoon, director of the Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation, said, ″We deeply thank Lim Young Woong and the fans who extend warm support every month to children and families going through long treatment periods,″ and added, ″The donated funds will be transparently used where they are most needed so that patient families can focus on treatment and recovery.″ Meanwhile, Lim Young Woong is scheduled to hold a concert at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium from September 4 to 7. The Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation is carrying out various welfare projects, including medical and care treatment expense support, emotional support, and shelter operation for children with pediatric cancer and rare incurable diseases.
