Monsta X to make a comeback after one year with the mini album 'The Phase' on September 4th

Monsta X has announced a comeback with a new mini album, ’The Phase,’ set for release on September 4. Starship Entertainment revealed the comeback news on the 6th through Monsta X’s official SNS channels by releasing a coming soon video for ’The Phase.’ The video begins with a scene filled with waves of light, featuring dynamic performances of the members shaped as particles of light, their rushing movements, and light trails spreading from their fingertips. It also includes a scene where scattered particles of light gather into one, emitting intense light that completes the silhouettes of the members. At the end of the video, the album title ’The Phase’ and the release date, September 4, are displayed. This coming soon video is connected to the VCR shown during the previously held ’2026 Monsta X World Tour ″THE X : NEXUS″’ concert. The VCR depicted the members reaching a new dimension by passing through a massive portal emitting light. The teaser attracted attention with its direction suggesting the story that follows. ’The Phase’ is Monsta X’s first domestic comeback in about a year. Monsta X has showcased various musical styles through solo, unit, and group activities, expanding their global influence with the release of their third full-length album in the U.S. and a world tour. During the world tour, they met fans worldwide and delivered live performances. Monsta X is scheduled to continue the North American leg of ’THE X : NEXUS’ tour in October.
