In the video, Kim Sun-tae appeared with a scruffy beard, sitting alone in an empty room, with empty alcohol bottles scattered on the floor. He left a brief message saying, ″Just lonely.″ Earlier, on the 29th of last month, Kim Sun-tae requested Won-i, a member of the group ’RIIZEne,’ in dialect on the pre-release video of KBS2’s ’Don Sun-tae Success Era,’ saying, ″Why is my name coming up in politics!″ This remark referred again to Won-i’s past controversial statement ″I’m scared,″ which had already sparked controversy extending into the political sphere. The video was set to private about four hours after its release. Following the controversy, Kim Sun-tae apologized, saying, ″I have taken time to reflect on my words and actions so far. In fact, I heard they were worried about me before I even contacted them. I am sorry again and again.″ Subsequently, KBS canceled the broadcast of the program. Meanwhile, Lee Dong-seok, the mayor of Chungju City, left a comment on Kim Sun-tae’s update video saying, ″I am the new mayor of Chungju City.
