In July, she appeared on MBC’s variety show Radio Star and said, ″Before the cancer surgery, I had 12 other surgeries,″ adding, ″The 13th and final surgery was the breast cancer surgery.″ She revealed, ″The day before the surgery, I thought I might not be able to open my eyes, so I wrote a letter like a will to my family,″ and ″I even wrote down my account numbers and passwords and put them in an envelope, but as soon as I came home after the surgery, I tore everything up.″ The 815 Run is a donation marathon led by singer Sean and Habitat for Humanity Korea, commemorating the joy of liberation and expressing gratitude to independence activists. This year marks its 7th event, and the funds raised are used to support housing for the descendants of independence activists.
