Stray Kids has achieved their ninth number one on the US Billboard main album chart, the Billboard 200. According to a chart preview article released by Billboard on the 16th (local time), Stray Kids’ new album THIS & THAT topped the Billboard 200 chart dated the 22nd. With this achievement, Stray Kids has secured nine consecutive number one albums on the Billboard 200 since the release of ODDINARY in 2022. This is the highest record among K-pop groups in history and the most for any group debuting since the 2000s. The artist with the most number one albums on the Billboard 200 is the British band The Beatles (19 times), and Stray Kids now matches the British band The Rolling Stones with nine times. Meanwhile, THIS & THAT is an album filled with boldness and free energy, recording first-week album sales (initial sales) of 3,289,269 copies.
