Ham Yeon-ji is known to have wrapped up her entertainment career and is gaining practical marketing experience at Ottogi America, the U.S. branch of Ottogi. Ham Yeon-ji, granddaughter of the late Ham Tae-ho, honorary chairman and founder of Ottogi, and eldest daughter of Chairman Ham Young-jun, debuted in 2014 with the musical ″Gone with the Wind.″ She has since appeared in various stage productions such as ″Jesus Christ Superstar,″ ″Infinite Power,″ ″Notre-Dame de Paris,″ ″Chami,″ and ″Killer Party.″ She has also acted in plays like ″Save the Earth,″ ″Amadeus,″ dramas including ″Shining Eun-soo,″ ″Dali and Potato Soup,″ ″Police Station Next to Fire Station,″ and films such as ″Killer Party,″ ″Encanto,″ and ″4 Minutes 44 Seconds.″ Additionally, she gained public recognition through appearances on various entertainment programs. After graduating from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, Ham Yeon-ji worked as a musical actress and YouTuber, sharing family stories on her YouTube channel ″Ham Yeon-ji″ for about four years, amassing 470,000 subscribers. However, she announced the suspension of her channel operations in December 2023, stating, ″I am deeply considering how to promote Korean food in the U.S. I am having a very meaningful day. I will try to become a better person by finding my true self in everyday life, going out without a camera.″ Following her role in the 2024 film ″4 Minutes 44 Seconds,″ Ham Yeon-ji ceased her entertainment activities and is currently working in the marketing department at Ottogi America. She reportedly started as an intern and became a full-time marketing staff member. Her husband, Kim Jae-woo, serves as CEO of Ottogi America Holdings, the holding company overseeing U.S. operations. Ham Yeon-ji’s personal social media accounts are currently inactive. Ottogi has assigned siblings Ham Yeon-ji and Ham Yoon-sik to the U.S. branch and the domestic headquarters, respectively. Ham Yoon-sik joined as an employee in 2021, has worked in management and production-related departments, and currently serves as head of the marketing office, responsible for product and brand strategy. Ham Yeon-ji has not been appointed as an executive or registered director, and succession in management has not been confirmed. She is currently gaining marketing and business experience locally in the U.S. while her management capabilities are being evaluated.
