Jin's 'Don't Say You Love Me' surpasses 1 billion streams on Spotify... enters Billboard 'Hot 100' for the third time

BTS member Jin set a new record by surpassing 1 billion streams on Spotify. According to Spotify, the title track ″Don’t Say You Love Me″ from Jin’s second mini-album ″Echo,″ released last May, exceeded 1 billion cumulative streams as of August 18. This is the highest number of streams among all of Jin’s solo songs. ″Don’t Say You Love Me″ is a pop genre song that captures the emotions of lovers who find it hard to let go of each other even when facing a breakup. It has been praised for combining Jin’s calm and restrained sound with delicate vocals. The song entered the US Billboard main song chart ″Hot 100″ at number 90 (issue dated May 31, 2025), marking Jin’s third solo song to appear on the Hot 100, following the 2022 solo single ″The Astronaut″ and the title track ″Running Wild″ from the 2024 mini-album ″Happy.″ It also proved its popularity by ranking within the top 10 on various global charts, including number 2 on Spotify’s ″Weekly Top Songs Global,″ number 6 on Billboard’s ″Global 200,″ and number 4 on ″Global (excluding US).″ Jin’s second mini-album ″Echo″ achieved his highest solo debut by ranking third on the US Billboard main album chart ″Billboard 200″ (issue dated May 31, 2025). Meanwhile, BTS opened the second act of their North American world tour ″ARIRANG″ at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, USA, on August 1 and 2 (local time). This concert was held at the same venue for the first time in about seven years since the ″LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF″ tour in May 2019.
