Hwasa’s LA Photo Dump Shows Fans Her Favorite Things

Hwasa had a very specific Los Angeles itinerary.

Perform in an arena. Find a pool. Get coffee. Watch the sunset.

On August 27, the MAMAMOO member shared a collection of photos from her stay in LA, giving fans a look at the much quieter moments surrounding the group’s ongoing U.S. tour. Rather than writing one long caption, Hwasa described the trip through a series of things she loved: “a place I like,” “a sunset I like,” “coffee in the water that I like,” and “a time I like.”

She finished with a playful Korean-English goodbye: “I LA you, see you again ♡.”

From Crypto.com Arena to coffee in the pool

The photos capture a very different Hwasa from the performer fans had just watched onstage.

One image shows her sitting by the pool in a green bikini paired with a colorful striped wrap skirt. In another, she relaxes in the water wearing sunglasses while holding a cup of coffee.

Other shots document terraces, warm evening light and the LA sunset.

The overall mood is less polished celebrity photoshoot and more personal travel diary a few quiet hours squeezed between dates on a major international tour. And the timing makes that contrast even stronger.

Just two days earlier, MAMAMOO performed at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on August 25, with the concert beginning at 7:30 p.m. local time.

MAMAMOO are in the middle of a major U.S. reunion tour

Hwasa’s LA break comes during an especially meaningful year for MAMAMOO.

Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein and Hwasa reunited for full-group activities in 2026 and launched their 4WARD world tour as part of the group’s 12th-anniversary celebrations.

The tour began with three Seoul concerts from June 19 through 21 with opening night falling on MAMAMOO’s debut anniversary.

Their U.S. leg then kicked off in New York on August 12 before traveling through Chicago, Fort Worth, Cedar Park and Los Angeles.

And Hwasa does not have much time to remain in vacation mode.

The group’s next show is scheduled for August 27 at SAP Center in San Jose, followed by Kent, Washington, on August 30. The world tour will then continue with additional international dates, including shows in Australia and Asia.

Fans in LA also noticed Hwasa offstage

Some of the most enthusiastic reactions from the Los Angeles stop have not been about the main concert at all.

One fan who attended the post-show send-off said Hwasa appeared to make an effort to spend more time interacting with the line and making eye contact with fans as she passed them.

It fits surprisingly well with the atmosphere of her LA post. Onstage, Hwasa remains the explosive performer associated with songs like “HIP,” “Egotistic” and her solo work. Offstage, the version she chose to share this time was considerably simpler: sunglasses, water, coffee and a sunset.

The tour is also a reminder of MAMAMOO’s unusual longevity

For longtime fans, the 2026 tour carries more weight than an ordinary string of overseas concerts.

MAMAMOO debuted in 2014 and eventually entered a period where all four members became increasingly focused on individual careers. Hwasa, in particular, has developed one of the most recognizable solo identities among third-generation K-pop artists.

But the four members returning to large international stages together has turned 4WARD into something of a reunion era. The U.S. concerts are also extensive productions. Recent tour setlists have moved through early MAMAMOO favorites such as “Mr. Ambiguous” and “Piano Man,” major hits including “Starry Night,” “HIP” and “gogobebe,” and individual stages for all four members.

That makes Hwasa’s LA pictures almost a behind-the-scenes epilogue to the arena show. Thousands of people see the performance. Instagram gets the coffee afterward.

Editor’s insight

Hwasa not only is known for her powerful vocals but also she is an icon that fans appreciate for her bold and honest personality. Did you know that before debuting Hwasa just shaved her head without anyone’s approval just a few days before her actual debut. Fortunately, instead of cutting her off, her CEO found this actually rather endearing and said that Hwasa has what it takes to be a star. And now we have her presence and achievements that inspire many artists and fans alike.
