Monsta X to release mini album 'The Phase' on September 4... Presents intense mood sampler

Monsta X has released a mood sampler video for their new EP, The Phase. Starship Entertainment announced on August 22 through Monsta X’s official SNS that they unveiled the mood sampler for The Phase. In the video, the members appear against the backdrop of a dark warehouse, showcasing intense charisma and presence. The stylish direction and tilted camera angles create a sophisticated yet powerful atmosphere. The heavy metallic sounds throughout the video heighten the tension. Scheduled for release on September 4, The Phase consists of six tracks that express Monsta X’s present emotions in various ways. The album contains a range of feelings and moods including the team’s identity, confidence, ambition, love, longing, and hope. Jooheon participated in the production of four songs, including the title track, MAGIC, while Hyungwon contributed his self-composed song Sweet Night, Sweet Morning. The title track, MAGIC, compares a fateful encounter and uncontrollable emotions to magic. It features a rhythmic guitar, strong beats, and a harmonious blend of rap and vocals. Monsta X has expanded their musical spectrum through solo and unit activities, and with this album, they plan to present a more refined sound and stage performance.
