Cortis 'REDRED' ranks number one on Spotify for 18 consecutive weeks, setting a new K-pop record

CORTIS has secured the number one spot on the Spotify charts for an extended period, establishing itself as this year’s hit song. According to Spotify’s ″Weekly Top Song Korea″ chart (August 21–27) released on the 28th, CORTIS (Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun, Gunho)’s mini-album 2 title track ″REDRED″ held the number one position for 18 consecutive weeks. This record is the longest-running number one for a K-pop group song on the Spotify Korea chart. Additionally, it ranked 179th on the ″Weekly Top Song Global″ chart, successfully entering the chart for 18 consecutive weeks. It also showed remarkable performance on the daily charts. On the 27th, ″REDRED″ achieved its 110th cumulative number one on the ″Daily Top Song Korea″ chart. On the 24th, CORTIS celebrated their first anniversary since debut by unexpectedly releasing the extended version of their mini-album 2, ″GREENGREEN_playextended.″ The tracks ″PACK IT UP″ and ″MONEYMONEYMONEY″ included in the new release were created with participation from all five members. Their overseas activities are also actively continuing. Having started their first solo tour in July, CORTIS completed performances in Korea, Canada, and the Americas, and will hold the ″2026 CORTIS TOUR IN JAPAN″ at Pia Arena MM in Kanagawa, Japan, from September 4 to 6. They will also appear at Japan’s ″Rock in Japan Festival 2026″ on September 20 and the ″Formula One Singapore Grand Prix″ stage on October 9.
