RIIZE draws 120,000 to Tokyo Dome in 2 years and 5 months...Shortest record for a K-pop boy group

K-pop groups are increasingly performing on large stages such as domes and stadiums early in their careers. Recently, RIIZE held a special edition concert at Tokyo Dome just 2 years and 5 months after their debut, attracting 120,000 attendees. This significantly surpassed the record set by TVXQ, who reached this milestone in about 5 years, making it the shortest period for a K-pop boy group to perform at Tokyo Dome. Since their debut in September 2023, RIIZE has toured 21 locations starting from Seoul, including Hyogo, Hong Kong, New York, LA, and Mexico City. Their Japanese single ″All of You″ topped the Oricon Daily Single Chart, and they also performed ″KILL SHOT,″ the ending theme for the anime ″Kill Blue.″ They plan to release their third Japanese single ″Sunburst,″ which was pre-released at a fan meeting at Yoyogi National Stadium, on the 26th. TREASURE debuted during the pandemic in 2020, starting with performances without audiences but showed remarkable success in Japan.
