In response, the production team stated that they did not receive any filming support or sponsorship related to the Kazakhstan trip, nor did they receive any financial sponsorship or production funding from the Almaty City Tourism Office. They explained that they only received administrative procedures and filming cooperation necessary for local shooting. They added that they reviewed countries that could be traveled to within a limited time and judged that Kazakhstan was likely chosen considering Jeon Hyun-moo’s interest in the destination and flight conditions, so they issued staff airline tickets in advance and requested local filming cooperation. Jeon Hyun-moo stated that he checked available flights departing from the airport on the day and issued the ticket to Kazakhstan on-site himself.
