Evan's mini-album 'DEATH OF ME' achieves No.1 on iTunes in 11 countries and tops Hanteo Chart sales

Singer EVAN has made a mark on domestic and international music and album charts with his first mini-album, ’DEATH OF ME.’ On the day of its release on the 7th, ’DEATH OF ME’ ranked first on the Hanteo Chart daily album chart with sales of 461,488 copies. On the same day, the title track ″Death of Me″ also took first place on the Bugs real-time chart and entered the Melon HOT 100 (within 30 days of release) chart at number five. Domestically, it ranked first on the Bugs real-time chart and third on the daily chart dated September 7. The album’s success was also prominent overseas. It entered the iTunes Top Albums chart in 28 countries and regions, including first place in 10 countries and regions such as Brazil, Indonesia, Thailand, and Türkiye. Some reports counted it as first place in 11 countries and regions and charting in 32 countries and regions. The title track ″Death of Me″ also achieved first place on the iTunes Top Songs chart in seven countries and regions, first place in nine countries and regions, and ranked third on the Tencent Music Korea chart in China. This work, EVAN’s first solo mini-album, features his direct involvement in songwriting and producing, expressing his emotions and experiences through various genres such as pop R&B, alternative rock, UK garage-based pop, and dream pop. The album conveys a message of moving forward despite tangled emotions and includes a total of eight tracks. On the 7th, EVAN held a fan showcase at Kyung Hee University Peace Hall in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, where he performed five songs including the title track. He said, ″I feel incredibly relieved and happy to finally release the album I have prepared for a long time and to see my fans,″ adding, ″There are many sides I want to show, so please look forward to it and follow along.″ Meanwhile, EVAN will begin his full-scale music show activities by performing the title track on Mnet’s ’M Countdown’ on the 10th.
