Ahn Jung-hwan appointed as MC of 'Contract Marriage'... Promises 26 years of marriage reality advice

Jung Sung-hwan will appear as the MC of the marriage simulation observational reality program ″Contract Marriage,″ which airs on MBC Every1 and KBS Joy. ″Contract Marriage″ is an entertainment show where men and women who desperately want to get married experience a marital relationship through a contract, confirming the meaning of marriage and realistic partnership in the process. The first broadcast is scheduled for the 28th at 10:30 PM. In this program, Jung Sung-hwan will act as a ″marriage advisory panel,″ offering realistic advice to the participants based on his 26 years of marriage experience. He revealed that he does not often watch dating programs, but decided to appear due to curiosity about whether ″contract marriage″ is possible, along with feelings of freshness, concern, and worry. Regarding the participants starting a virtual married life on the show, Jung Sung-hwan said he was impressed by their considerate attitudes toward each other. However, he mentioned that changes in the relationship could occur over time, saying, ″It’s a lie to say that couples never fight in married life; I fight too. At first, you consider and endure each other, but as time passes, problems arise that cause conflicts.″ He also expressed curiosity about whether this virtual marriage could realistically continue until the end and possibly lead to an actual marriage. About his chemistry with MCs Hyoyeon and LEE CHAEYOUNG, he noted that due to differences in generation and marriage experience, their reactions to the same scenes differ. Jung Sung-hwan said, ″Because thoughts differ by age and era, I sometimes realize, ’I used to think that way too,’ and by watching Chaeyoung, I learn that young people nowadays, the MZ generation, think like this.″ Regarding his first meeting with PD Nam Kyu-hong, Jung Sung-hwan said, ″He was very calm and quiet. Although I have only met him once, he was simply taciturn and dignified.″ He added, ″Though quiet, I was a bit surprised because I thought, ’How did he come up with this idea of ’Contract Marriage’ that we hadn’t thought of?’″ As a highlight of the program, he mentioned that there are many scenes that various viewers can relate to regardless of age. Jung Sung-hwan said, ″Whether married, single, about to get married, or couples who have spent a long time together, there are many scenes that resonate deeply. It seems to be an entertainment show where you can feel, learn, and improve on things while watching.″
