Stray Kids' Bang Chan donates 200 million won to Seoul Rehabilitation Hospital and UNICEF... "I wanted to offer comfort"

Bang Chan of Stray Kids recently donated 100 million KRW each to Seoul Rehabilitation Hospital and the UNICEF Korea Committee, totaling 200 million KRW. This donation will be used to establish a specialized rehabilitation center tailored to the age and disease characteristics of patients at Seoul Rehabilitation Hospital, and for flood recovery and emergency relief activities in Nepal through UNICEF. According to the UNICEF Korea Committee, the donation from Bang Chan will be fully used through the Nepal office for various emergency relief activities for children and families in the affected areas, including provision of drinking water, sanitation, health, nutrition, psychosocial support, and temporary learning spaces. He Geum-ju, Secretary General of the UNICEF Korea Committee, said, ″We deeply appreciate the warm hearts shared whenever children are in crisis,″ and added, ″We will do our best to ensure that the precious donation is quickly delivered to the affected children in Nepal so that they can regain a safe daily life.″ Bang Chan conveyed a message through his agency JYP Entertainment, saying, ″I wanted to offer a small comfort to those going through tiring and difficult times. I sincerely hope that many people will regain peaceful daily lives as soon as possible.″ On October 3 last year, Bang Chan donated 100 million KRW each to Samsung Seoul Hospital and UNICEF, totaling 200 million KRW, to celebrate his birthday. In 2024, he donated 100 million KRW to the Community Chest of Korea and was appointed as a member of the Honor Society. It is also known that Bang Chan has joined the UNICEF Honors Club.
