NCT 127, 31,500 fans thrilled at 10th anniversary debut concert... Military service members Doyoung and Jungwoo make surprise visit

NCT 127 members Doyoung and Jungwoo attended the NCT 127 fifth tour concert held in Seoul as audience members despite being in military service. On the afternoon of the 20th, the final performance of NCT 127’s fifth tour ’NEO CITY : SEOUL – THE REDLINE’ took place at KSPO DOME (formerly Gymnastics Stadium) in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul. On this day, Doyoung and Jungwoo watched the performance from the audience seats, greeting fans and members warmly. The two enlisted as active-duty soldiers in the army on December 8 last year and are currently serving as an instructor and in the military band, respectively. During the members’ prepared speech time in the concert, a 10th-anniversary rice cake prepared by Doyoung appeared on stage. The rice cake, featuring the members’ faces, had number ’10’ candles, and Doyoung and Jungwoo blew out the candles together to celebrate the 10th anniversary. After tasting the cake, the members also distributed some rice cakes to the audience. Additionally, Doyoung and Jungwoo made a surprise appearance via video during the ’Ay-Yo’ stage and appeared as doll figures on the screen during the ’Fire Truck’ stage, participating in the performance. During the time when fan support messages and photos were displayed on the big screen, the two showed a message on their phone screens saying, ″Ah, include us too,″ joining in the moment. Leader Taeyong shared his thoughts, saying, ″What made today more meaningful than the past two days was that all the members were here inside this venue, which made me very happy.″ He continued, ″Next year, all seven of us will be on stage together to show you an amazing performance, so please look forward to it.″ Taeyong also advised Doyoung and Jungwoo to take good care of their health. NCT 127 is scheduled to continue their tour in 10 regions starting from October 3 in Jakarta. The Seoul concert, held over three days from the 18th to the 20th, attracted 31,500 attendees and was sold out.
