It captured the passion and brilliant performances of the main actors, centered around Lee Hyun-wook and Jang Hyuk.'Moomoo' is a work that depicts the desperate and lonely epic of leaders who risked everything for a single victory amidst 600 years of war and internal turmoil within the Three Kingdoms. It is drawing attention as KBS's grand historical drama, three years after 'Korea–Goryeo War'.As the script reading began, Lee Hyun-wook, playing Kim Beop-min (the 30th King of Silla, King Munmu), a master of double-sided strategy (a strategy of both offense and defense), and Jang Hyuk, playing Yeon Gaesomun, the dictator of Goguryeo, led the cast. Kim Kang-woo, as Silla's strategist Kim Chun-chu (the 29th King of Silla, King Taejong Muyeol), and Park Sung-woong, as the upright Silla general Kim Yu-sin, captivated the atmosphere with their high level of immersion.In addition, veteran actors Jung Woong-in, Kim Do-hyun, Baek Sung-hyun, Yang Hyun-min, Oh Seung-hoon, Lee Ji-hoon, Park Myung-hoon, Im Ho, Choi Soo-rin, and Jo Sung-ha heated up the set with their solid acting skills. In the context of unifying the three kingdoms, 'Moomoo' refers to 'King Munmu,' and also carries the meaning of wisdom (文) and the martial arts (武) representing combat power and strength." He added, "'Moomoo' is a grand masterpiece and epic from KBS that has returned.
