The cumulative audience count reached 11,286,770.Released on the 5th of last month, 'Odyssey' set records by reaching 1 million viewers on its 4th day, 5 million on its 13th day, and 10 million on its 33rd day. However, after the release of 'The Intern' (directed by Kim Do-young) on the 16th, it was pushed from the No. 1 spot for six consecutive days. Nevertheless, it has proven its continued box office potential by returning to the top of the box office ahead of the Chuseok holiday.'Odyssey' depicts the arduous journey through unknown worlds over 10 years for Odysseus (played by Matt Damon), a war hero and king of wisdom who led the Trojan War to victory with the Trojan Horse, to return to his homeland where his wife awaits after the war.'The Intern' came in second, drawing 33,474 viewers the previous day, narrowly losing the top spot to 'Odyssey'. The cumulative audience count is 471,218.'The Intern' is a remake of the Hollywood film of the same name released in 2015.
