Fin.K.L reunites in full after 21 years... Launching 30th debut anniversary project

Fin.K.L is resuming full-group activities for the first time in about 21 years to celebrate their 30th anniversary since debut. Gemstone E&M recently announced that they are preparing for Fin.K.L’s full-group activities together with the four members LEE HYO RI, Ok Joo-hyun, Lee Jin, and Sung Yu-ri. Fin.K.L is a four-member girl group that debuted in 1998 and released numerous hit songs such as ″Blue Rain,″ ″To My Boyfriend,″ ″Eternal Love,″ and ″Now.″ On September 25, Ok Joo-hyun shared a video of LEE HYO RI’s appearance on MBC’s ″Radio Star″ on her social media and expressed her gratitude toward LEE HYO RI. In the video, LEE HYO RI said, ″If I had done a little better, we could have lasted longer and looked cooler as a girl group. It’s a regret. I think it would be really cool if we got together.″ She also said, ″Whenever Joo-hyun does musicals, I go to watch, and every time I watch, I feel like she really grew up well to the point of tears. Let’s do it once. Let’s do it once more before we get older,″ revealing her wish for full-group activities to the members. In response, Ok Joo-hyun wrote, ″Thanks to our Hyol leader, Fin.K.L shines even more now.″ Ok Joo-hyun also released her own ″Radio Star″ appearance video. She said, ″There are people who want to recall memories from that era. I really want to hold a concert together once. The members have talked about a concert before. To make it happen, someone proactive has to take the lead. The proactive ones are me and Hyori unnie. Our wish is to hold a Fin.K.L concert that makes both fans and us happy.″ Ok Joo-hyun added, ″Whatever we do, as long as it’s with the four of us, whatever it is. What kind of memories do you have with our songs from that time?″ Fin.K.L is starting full-group activities for the first time in about 21 years since their 2005 digital single album ’Forever Fin.K.L.’ Although the four members reunited and released a new song through JTBC’s ’Camping Club’ in 2019, that was a project through a broadcast program. Gemstone E&M stated that they plan to gradually present various activities over about two years centered on Fin.K.L’s new music and performances, including documentaries, variety shows, exhibitions, official merchandise, brand collaborations, advertisements, and fan projects. This full-group activity of Fin.K.L is being promoted with Gemstone E&M collaborating with the four members and related parties, taking charge of overall planning and operation.
