The movie ″Assassin(s)″ took first place at the box office during the Chuseok holiday period. According to the Korea Film Council’s integrated ticket sales network, ″Assassin(s)″ attracted 1,119,154 viewers from the 25th to the 27th, reaching the top spot. It surpassed 1 million cumulative viewers within four days of its release and recorded a total of 1,566,220 viewers by the weekend. ″Assassin(s)″ is a crime thriller that traces the hidden suspicions and background of the assassination attempt on the First Lady of South Korea on August 15, 1974, and it was the audience’s choice during this Chuseok holiday. The second place at the box office went to ″Tazza: The Belzebub’s Song,″ which attracted 566,527 viewers and has a cumulative audience of 833,031. This film depicts a revenge drama between Jang Tae-young, who ran an online casino business, and Park Tae-young, who took everything from him, unfolding on a global gambling stage. In third place was ″Odyssey,″ which drew 364,763 viewers. Following were ″Intern″ (206,349 viewers) and ″Possible Love″ (72,022 viewers).
