BTS Jimin, first TikTok video surpasses 15 million views · followers exceed 6.54 million

BTS Jimin attracted great attention by releasing his first video on the official TikTok account. On the 28th, Jimin posted a video for the first time using the song ″Be Mine″ from his second solo album ″MUSE″ as the background music. This video, featuring original choreography against the backdrop of a beach sunset, recorded 10 million views and over 4.55 million likes in about 16 hours after its release, and ranked number one on the U.S. trends. Jimin’s account had more than 5.3 million followers without any separate posts, but within a day of posting the first video, the number of followers increased by more than 1 million, reaching over 6.54 million. As of midnight on September 30, Jimin’s first TikTok video recorded over 15 million views and more than 6 million likes. The official TikTok Korea account introduced Jimin’s first post, saying, ″Jimin’s unique trait: coming back with the first TikTok right after the holiday ends,″ and left a comment, ″Posting the first video to prevent Monday blues right after the Chuseok holiday is truly admirable.″
