ALLDAY PROJECT Tarzan reveals connection with BTS Jimin from Busan Arts High School on 'The Manager'

ALLDAY PROJECT (Oldf) Tarzan mentioned his school days connection with BTS Jimin on MBC’s ’Omniscient Interfering View.’ On the broadcast, Tarzan revealed that he started dancing in the first year of middle school as the Busan Arts High School entrance exam video was shown. He said, ″I think I started a little late. I thought I had three years to give it my all, so I got into arts high school.″ Tarzan cited his high school years as the most enjoyable period and said that BTS Jimin was a senior in the same department. He said, ″Whenever I performed in high school, he always sent congratulatory flowers. It’s a shame I have never met him yet. If I get to meet him, I want to greet him by saying which class I was in.″ Tarzan also shared an experience from early in his career when his friends posted many strange photos, and he had to call them directly to stop. When the manager asked, ″Wasn’t the excited version of you now just your everyday self when you were in school?″ Tarzan replied, ″It was even worse.″ That day, Tarzan contacted Lee Chaemin, whom he connected with through Netflix’s ’Why on Earth Do People Hike?’. Upon learning that Lee Chaemin was filming at Pusan National University, Tarzan said, ″It’s right next to my alma mater. Should I drop by for a bit?″ but the manager discouraged the meeting, citing lack of time. Arriving at his alma mater, Tarzan met teachers and juniors practicing. He reminisced, ″I practiced nonstop from after eating until going to bed.″ The teacher praised him, saying, ″He was very serious about dance. The gold prize at the Dong-A Dance Competition for two consecutive years still stands unbroken.″ Tarzan said he worked even harder because he felt his physical condition was behind others.
