BTS, First LA Concert in October...Sacramento Names 'BTS Boulevard' and Hosts a Spectacular Downtown Light Show Festival

Various welcoming events were held in downtown Lima ahead of BTS’s first concert in Peru. From October 5 to 11, the Santiago de Surco district installed a temporary sign named ″BTS Avenue″ on Sacramento Street in the Surco area. Additionally, at the Arco Morisco in Surco Friendship Park, a purple light and light show will be held daily during the same period. At the Fountain Park’s Fantasy Fountain, a music, light, and water screen show themed around BTS is also scheduled. BTS will meet Peruvian fans through the ″BTS WORLD TOUR ’ARIRANG’ IN LIMA″ concerts at Estadio San Marcos in Lima on October 7, 9, and 10. This concert marks BTS’s debut stage in Peru. The official Peruvian tourism site, Peru Travel, stated that the Lima concert presents an opportunity to introduce Peru’s food, culture, and natural scenery. Meanwhile, BTS began their South American tour on October 2 and 3 at Estadio El Campín in Bogotá, Colombia, attracting about 100,000 attendees over two days. In Rolling Stone, aespan described the concert as ″the concert an entire generation has been waiting for,″ saying ″BTS met expectations and exceeded them in many moments.″
