PLAVE releases highlight medley of new mini album 'HYPERDRIVE'... previewing 5 tracks including 'Star Trace'

PLAVE released the highlight medley video of their fifth mini-album ’HYPERDRIVE’ on the 8th through their official YouTube channel. This album features a racing concept, with highlights of each track introduced in order through a video format reminiscent of retro TV screens and video games. The first track, ″Kkun,″ presents a drowsy and dreamy atmosphere with a smooth bossa nova rhythm. The second song, ″Raindrops on the Blue Sky,″ conveys a clear and warm feeling with acoustic guitar and the members’ straightforward vocals. The title track, ″Star Trace,″ is characterized by EDM sounds and a heavy beat and was previously pre-released through the world tour encore stage. The fourth track, ″The Answer Is Yes,″ stands out with refreshing vocals and bright energy, while the final song, ″Rewind,″ features participation from Kenzy and the composing team KZLAB, capturing a refreshing and romantic mood. PLAVE is a five-member virtual boy group under Blast that debuted in 2023. The team name combines ″Play″ and ″Rêve″ (dream), symbolizing the creation of a new world to achieve their dreams. This album is their new release about six months after their fourth mini-album, ″Caligo Pt.2,″ which was released last April. ’HYPERDRIVE’ consists of tracks spanning various genres such as bossa nova, acoustic, EDM, and pop. The digital album will be released on the 12th at 6 PM on various music platforms, and the physical album will be released on the 13th.
