MEOVV·NMIXX·IVE·ILLIT·RESCENE, this fall comeback battle... chart competition anticipated

This fall, girl groups are scheduled to make consecutive comebacks in the music industry. RESCENE is maintaining a high position on the music charts through a resurgence, while MEOVV, NMIXX, IVE, and ILLIT are releasing new albums. MEOVV will release a new single, ″GO HARD,″ on the 12th. This marks a comeback about four months after the mini-album 2, ″BITE NOW,″ released in June. MEOVV has previously made their presence known with tracks like ″DDI RO RI,″ which samples Bach’s ″Toccata and Fugue in D minor,″ and the powerful performance song ″Hit Em.″ NMIXX will release their 6th mini-album, ″Strange Muse,″ on the 19th. The album includes six tracks, featuring three debut unit songs performed by pairs of members: Lily & Haewon, Seolyun & Bay, and Jiwoo & Kyujin. The members participated in writing the lyrics for the unit songs, and Kyujin also contributed to composing. NMIXX achieved a career high last year with ″Blue Valentine″ and recently won ″Sound of the Year″ at The Fact Music Awards. Their world tour finale is scheduled for November, followed by their Japanese debut in December. IVE will pre-release a track from their new mini-album ″Looks Can Kill″ on the 19th, with the full album officially releasing on the 26th. This album introduces the ″Girl Hero″ concept, where the six members transform into heroes to unfold a new universe. IVE has consecutively hit with songs from their debut ″ELEVEN″ to ″LOVE DIVE″ and ″After LIKE,″ achieving their sixth perfect all-kill (PAK) earlier this year. They have won 83 music show trophies in total and completed their second world tour. ILLIT will release their 5th mini-album ″BREAK EVEN″ on the 26th. The album title is inspired by the economic term ″break-even point,″ and the title track ″I’ll Arrest You″ reflects a change in attitude toward love. While their previous work ″It’s Me″ conveyed the message ″I am your favorite!″, this song shows a more independent side. ILLIT ranked second on Melon Top 100 with ″It’s Me″ and topped major music charts such as Bugs, Genie, and Flo. They also reached 26th on the US Billboard main album chart, the ″Billboard 200.″ Bang Si-hyuk, chairman of HYBE, is credited on all tracks of this album. RESCENE will make a comeback with their 4th mini-album on November 3rd. Recently, ″LOVE ATTACK″ reached number one on Melon Top 100 nearly two years after its release, and ″Deja Vu,″ released last July, also climbed the charts. Currently, three songs—″LOVE ATTACK″ at number 2, ″Deja Vu″ at number 4, and ″Pretty Girl″ at number 5—are in the Melon Top 5, while ″RUNAWAY″ continues to rise within the Top 100. The enthusiastic responses at university festivals and various events are translating into chart success, expanding their audience beyond fandom to the general public. Starting with MEOVV on the 12th, followed by NMIXX and IVE on the 19th, IVE and ILLIT on the 26th, and RESCENE on November 3rd, the comeback schedule of major girl groups continues.
