PLAVE to release new album 'Hyperdrive' on the 12th... comeback after 6 months with title track 'Star Trace'

PLAVE expanded their musical spectrum by releasing their fifth mini-album, HYPERDRIVE. HYPERDRIVE is a new release about six months after Caligo Pt.2, which was released last April. The album includes a total of five tracks, including the title track, Star Trace. The title track, Star Trace, was pre-released during PLAVE’s world tour performances and is an EDM-based dance pop track. The combination of synths and heavy beats creates a vast sense of space, and the lyrics, which convey cosmic love and trust, express the connection between PLAVE and their fans, linking Asterum and Terra. The track Kkun features a bossa nova rhythm with a languid and dreamy vibe, while Blue Sky Rain is a rock track harmonizing acoustic guitar and vocals. The Answer Is Yes is a pop track filled with bright energy, and Rewind is completed as an R&B pop track with a refreshing and romantic melody. Notably, Rewind is the first song PLAVE collaborated on with external composers, involving Kenji and the composing team KZLAB. Ahead of their comeback, PLAVE released a challenge video using the racing concept of the title track Star Trace on their official YouTube channel on September 22. The video features the five members wearing racing jackets performing to the highlights of the song on the track. Additionally, on the 9th, a teaser for the Star Trace music video was released on the official YouTube channel. The vertical screen showed the members racing in cars and the racing competition divided into two teams, introducing part of the song’s highlights. PLAVE’s mini-album HYPERDRIVE was released today (the 12th) at 6 p.m. on various music streaming sites, and the physical album will be released on October 13.
