Lim Young Woong fan club 'Raon' volunteers for meal service at Rodem House for the 64th time... Donates support worth 2.03 million KRW

The fan club of Lim Young Woong, ’Hero Era Volunteer Sharing Room Raon,’ carried out volunteer and support activities for children with severe disabilities. On October 17, ’Raon’ members conducted the 64th meal service at ’Rodem House,’ a residential facility for children with severe disabilities located in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi Province, and delivered donated goods and support funds worth approximately 2.03 million won. The members personally prepared various menus in the kitchen, including boneless soy sauce braised chicken, beef and cabbage soybean paste soup, mini pork cutlets, grilled spam, chive and crab stick pancakes, stir-fried mushrooms, and fruit salad. The donated goods included snacks such as candy, cookies, milk, and juice, as well as bananas, apples, Shine Muscat grapes, oranges, and 10 kg of Korean beef brisket for soup. The meal service is held on the third Saturday of every month, with grocery shopping done on the preceding Friday, followed by cooking and serving on Saturday. ’Raon’ continues to support Rodem House monthly with meal expenses and supplies while carrying out meal service activities with direct participation from its members. A representative stated, ″We want to share warm care with those in difficult places where others hesitate to step forward or with marginalized neighbors who have not yet received help,″ adding, ″We will continue to practice ongoing sharing by carrying on the positive influence of singer Lim Young Woong, who embodies the value of togetherness.″ In addition, over the past 65 months, Raon has extended support not only to Rodem House but also to various places such as shantytowns, Yongsan box villages, the Seoul Child Welfare Association, independent youth through ’People Selling Hope,’ and children with severe illnesses at Seoul National University Children’s Hospital. Recently, they also supported the reconstruction costs of Rodem House. The total accumulated donations to date amount to 246.8 million won.
