Kim Yong Bin meets Kim Si-won on 'Trot Kitchen'... Warm dinner show with Jangheung stage and seafood dishes

On TV Chosun’s ’Trot Kitchen Running Dinner Show,’ Kim Yong Bin expressed jealousy upon meeting Kim Si-won, who is called the ’Little Kim Yong Bin.’ In the broadcast, Lee Soo-geun, Ahn Sung-hoon, Kim Yong Bin, Chef Yoon Na-ra, and Chef Im Tae-hoon visited Jangheung, Jeollanam-do, where they presented local specialty dishes to residents and held a dinner show. On that day, while preparing meals for the Jangheung residents, Ahn Sung-hoon personally made hand-drip coffee and served it to the members, and Lee Soo-geun praised the taste of the coffee. The production team introduced the guests to be met that day as ’Jangheung Superman,’ ’National Treasure No. 1,’ and ’Little Kim Yong Bin.’ Kim Yong Bin recalled meeting the ’Little Kim Yong Bin’ before and mentioned his first stage experience while traveling with Lee Soo-geun, revealing that he won first place by singing ’Red Shoes Lady’ at a singing contest in a department store in Daegu. The identity of the ’Little Kim Yong Bin’ was Kim Si-won, a sixth-grade elementary school student who won the grand prize on the Jangheung episode of ’National Singing Contest.’ Kim Yong Bin said he had seen Kim Si-won twice and was pleased when Kim Si-won named him as his favorite singer. However, when Kim Si-won replied, ″Because you dance the choreography so well,″ Kim Yong Bin asked, ″Choreography?″ showing a hint of disappointment. He then said, ″So there’s no singing in the reason you like me,″ which brought laughter. Kim Yong Bin reminisced about debuting when he was also in sixth grade and gave sincere advice about trot music. After listening to Kim Si-won’s singing, he complimented her for doing better than before. When Lee Soo-geun asked them to compare their sixth-grade selves, Kim Yong Bin said Kim Si-won was better. Later, when Lee Soo-geun mentioned Ahn Sung-hoon, Kim Si-won was delighted, and Kim Yong Bin showed cute jealousy. In the cooking segment, Chef Yoon Na-ra prepared Yeonpotang (octopus soup) and grilled octopus rolls using Jangheung octopus, while Chef Im Tae-hoon made seafood jeongol (hot pot). At the dinner show, Ahn Sung-hoon started the stage with ’The Boat is Coming In,’ and Kim Yong Bin sang ’Love is Like Raindrops Outside the Window.’ Then, Ahn Sung-hoon performed ’Pure Heart,’ and Choi Jae Myeong and Tae Hwa Yoon each presented ’A Friend Like Medicine’ and ’Hateful Love.’ Kim Si-won also took the stage to showcase her singing ability, receiving praise and encouragement from Choi Jae Myeong and Lee Soo-geun.
