YENA, 'Sakuranbo' Korean remake on November 17... New interpretation of a J-POP classic song

YENA will remake the hit song ″Sakuranbo″ by Japanese singer Ai Otsuka in Korean and release it on various online music platforms at 6 PM on November 17. The teaser image of the ″Sakuranbo″ remake track, recently revealed on SNS, features a refreshing color scheme centered around cherries filling a glass and pink tones. Additionally, images reminiscent of nostalgic Japanese animation, the phrase ″SAKURANBO,″ and a cellphone image evoking a magical girl were unveiled, attracting attention. ″Sakuranbo″ is a song released by Ai Otsuka in 2003, characterized by its lively and addictive melody. YENA preserved the charm of the original while adding their own sensibility to reinterpret it with Korean emotion after 23 years. YENA recently released a new digital single, ″Rare Woman (Feat. NOWIMYOUNG),″ and is active in various fields. They are also working as a campaign model for liquor, gaming, wireless earphones, and skincare brands, as well as a muse for a color lens brand. The ″J-POP REMAKE″ project presents famous Japanese songs newly interpreted with the sensibility of Korean artists.
