Following that, "The King and the Man" (directed by Jang Hang-jun) drew 16.93 million viewers, ranking second on the all-time box office charts, and "Salmokji" (directed by Lee Sang-min) achieved the feat of becoming the No. 1 highest-grossing Korean horror film. To top it off, "Gunchae" by director Yeon Sang-ho continued the box office phenomenon, attracting 5.95 million viewers. Now, Showbox, which has captivated audiences with diverse genres, is drawing even more attention with "Snowy Day" as its final theatrical lineup for the year.Amidst this, Showbox heightened anticipation by releasing four parody posters on the 22nd, reinterpreting the images and taglines of four beloved past films to fit the unique characters and setting of "Snowy Day."First, the poster parodying "If We Were" features the tagline "Us, who were most suspicious, at the coldest moment" above an image of Gap-su (played by Kim Yun-seok) and Hyeon-taek (played by Gu Gyo-hwan) sitting side-by-side on a bench in front of Seol-o-yeok Station, bringing a smile to viewers' faces. The poster naturally blends the relationship between a retiring senior and a new junior with the original film's emotional atmosphere, drawing attention. The parody of "The King and the Man" offers another layer of fun by changing the title to "The Man Who Lived at the Station." Along with this, the tagline "Seol-o-yeok in 2016, the story that the snow tried to erase" emphasizes a mysterious atmosphere above Gap-su and Hyeon-taek, who stand side-by-side in front of a tunnel with snow falling.Furthermore, the parody posters for "Salmokji," with the added text "A train station where life and death are at stake," and "Gunchae," with the significant tagline "The beginning of a new junior," also blend perfectly with the narrative of "Snowy Day," further piquing curiosity about the film."Snowy Day" is a mystery drama that unfolds when a mysterious dead body is discovered in front of Gap-su, a stationmaster nearing retirement, and Hyeon-taek, his new junior, at a rural train station isolated by heavy snowfall. The film is set to open on November 18.jiyoon-1031@tf.co.kr[Entertainment Department | ssent@tf.co.kr]
