ILLIT returns as a four-member group after 6 months... Holds 'Break Even' showcase

Group ILLIT held a media showcase on the 26th at the Woori WON Banking Hall in Blue Square, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their 5th mini album, ″BREAK EVEN.″ This album marks their comeback about six months after their previous work, ″It’s Me,″ which received great love, and includes a total of four tracks. The title track, ″I Will Arrest You,″ is an electro-pop song that firmly delivers a ″guilty″ verdict to someone who misinterprets habitual kindness. It features whistle sounds throughout the song, straightforward lyrics, and an easy hook. Actor Song Kang made a surprise appearance in the music video, drawing attention. The song was first performed at the encore concert of their solo show on the 17th and 18th. Yoona said, ″I am happy to show a new side of myself with every comeback. Since the concept is clear, we prepared meticulously from recording to choreography details.″ Minju expressed confidence, saying, ″This song maximizes the addictive quality that is the strength of ILLIT’s music. Once you hear it today, you’ll naturally find yourself humming along.″ Wonhee stated, ″Since this comeback follows the much-loved ’It’s Me,’ I wanted to show an even better side. I prepared this album with confidence, to the point that I can call it my favorite album. Please listen to every track without missing any.″ IROHA said, ″Before the comeback, we revealed the stage for ’I Will Arrest You’ during the ’Press Start’ encore tour, and the response was enthusiastic. Through this promotion, we will show a more grown-up side.″ Regarding the performance, IROHA pointed out the whistle choreography, the gesture of making a gun shape, and leg movements that resemble chasing as key points. Minju explained that she prepared the stage carefully, paying attention to facial expressions for each part, angles, and timing with the members. Chairman Bang Si-hyuk of HYBE is credited on all tracks of this album. Minju said, ″I was overseas during the album preparation, so I couldn’t meet Producer Bang Si-hyuk in person, but I heard that this recording went exceptionally well, which gave me more confidence to prepare the stage.″ ILLIT is currently promoting as a four-member group due to Moka’s hiatus. Minju said, ″Preparing for a comeback as four members for the first time made Moka’s absence feel significant. Moka is also keeping up with our content and supporting us. We will fill the stage with her heart as well.″ IROHA added, ″Moka unnie listened to the album songs and said she liked them, giving us a lot of support. We hope everyone will wait for her return.″ ILLIT’s 5th mini album ″BREAK EVEN″ was released on the 26th at 6 p.m. through various music streaming sites.
