Shin Min-a reveals newlywed life with Kim Woo-bin on 'You Quiz'... "Unpack the delivery quickly"

Actress Shin Min-a appeared on the 366th episode of the tvN variety show ’You Quiz on the Block’ and shared about her newlywed life with her husband Kim Woo-bin and the changes after marriage. On the broadcast, Shin Min-a talked about their daily life at home, saying, ″We each have assigned seats on the sofa. We watch movies, OTT, or YouTube and live just like everyone else.″ Regarding the upcoming first wedding anniversary, she said, ″We don’t have any plans for the first anniversary yet. Both of us have continued working on projects even after marriage.″ Shin Min-a cited the biggest change after marriage as ″feeling like I have someone on my side, a subtle sense of comfort.″ She also mentioned that people often tell her she looks comfortable. When Yoo Jae-suk asked about the changes after marriage, Shin Min-a replied, ″I think my heart has become more at ease.″ The show also revealed their usual conversations with Kim Woo-bin. Shin Min-a said, ″I often tell Woo-bin to quickly unpack the many packages that keep arriving. There’s no one home, but the packages just keep coming.″ On the other hand, Kim Woo-bin revealed that he says ″You’re pretty″ to Shin Min-a the most, and Shin Min-a added, ″Woo-bin gives me a lot of compliments. Even when I’m not feeling well or have gained weight, he says I’m the prettiest.″ She added, ″I felt happy thinking that I am loved.″ Shin Min-a shared that as she entered her 40s, ″It seems to have become a habit to let go of the obsession with wanting to be the best and special. I think I’ve learned to distinguish between obsession and passion for the sake of my mind and health.″ Regarding her passion as an actress, she said, ″Although I’m not very young, I think it’s not too late to learn something new. There are many roles I haven’t tried yet, such as villains, traditional historical dramas, and killers, so I want to keep challenging myself.″ Shin Min-a and Kim Woo-bin first met on a commercial shoot in 2014 and started dating publicly in 2015. During Kim Woo-bin’s battle with nasopharyngeal cancer diagnosed in May 2017, Shin Min-a stayed by his side. After about 10 years of dating, the two held their wedding ceremony on December 20 last year. At the wedding, Buddhist monk Beopryun, who was a great emotional support to Shin Min-a during Kim Woo-bin’s illness, officiated the ceremony. Beopryun shared their love story, saying, ″Min-a carried offerings on her head and went to pray together beyond religion in front of the Gwaneum Bodhisattva statue at Namsan in Gyeongju.″
