Shin Min-a and Kim Woo-bin appear on 'You Quiz' to celebrate their 1st wedding anniversary: "It feels like having a promised ally"

Shin Min-a and Kim Woo-bin, a married couple, revealed their daily newlywed life on the occasion of their first wedding anniversary. On the 28th, Shin Min-a appeared on tvN’s variety show ″You Quiz on the Block″ and shared their love story, changes after marriage, and realistic conversations unique to couples. Regarding the changes after marriage, Shin Min-a said, ″It feels like I truly have someone on my side, someone promised to be on my side.″ She added that her mind has become much more at ease, to the point where people around her say she looks comfortable. About the conversations they have at home, she mentioned that they talk about practical things like ″The package has arrived,″ and ″There are too many packages, so unpack them.″ She explained that both of them often have packages piling up at home due to their busy shooting schedules. Kim Woo-bin’s affectionate side was also revealed. Shin Min-a said, ″Kim Woo-bin compliments me a lot. Even when I don’t look my best, he says, ’You’re the prettiest I’ve ever seen,’″ sharing her husband’s expressions of love. She also said, ″Feeling loved like this makes me happy.″ The two first met in 2014 during a commercial shoot and dated for 10 years before getting married last year. During their relationship, when Kim Woo-bin was battling nasopharyngeal cancer in 2017, Shin Min-a stayed by his side, and Kim Woo-bin was declared fully recovered in 2019. The couple is known for continuing charitable donations exceeding 5 billion won, practicing good deeds. Shin Min-a also spoke about her work, including ″My Girlfriend is a Gumiho,″ her concerns as an actress, and how she manages depression. She said, ″I try to have hobbies separate from work,″ and enjoys ordinary daily life such as watching movies on OTT at home. She also introduced small aspects of their married life, saying, ″Woo-bin and I each have our own designated seats and comfortable spots.″ Meanwhile, Shin Min-a is approaching her 30th year since debut and shared behind-the-scenes stories of playing a character experiencing depression in ″Our Blues.″ Regarding plans to celebrate their first wedding anniversary, she said, ″There aren’t any yet.″
