ATEEZ, special performance at Deoksugung Stone Hall...first K-pop idol group

ATEEZ will be the first K-pop idol group to present a special performance at Deoksugung Palace. They will perform on the 778th episode of KBS2’s ’Immortal Songs’ airing on the 31st, with Deoksugung Seokjojeon, a site steeped in the history of the Korean Empire’s royal family, as the backdrop. This stage is part of the ’2026 Royal Culture Festival’ special prepared by ’Immortal Songs.’ ATEEZ, a performance group representing K-pop, will showcase their unique music and energy in a historic Korean setting. The members expressed their feelings, saying, ″We are honored and deeply moved to be the first K-pop artists to perform at Deoksugung.″ Deoksugung Seokjojeon is a Western-style palace built after Emperor Gojong proclaimed the Korean Empire in 1897 to demonstrate the royal family’s dignity. It is a symbolic place where traditional Korean architecture and modern Western architectural features coexist. ATEEZ will create a unique stage by combining powerful performances with modern hip-hop sounds. The costumes, specially made for the performance, are designed to evoke the crown prince, blending with the atmosphere of Seokjojeon to add a Korean aesthetic. In the second part of ’Immortal Songs,’ in addition to ATEEZ, BOYNEXTDOOR, NMIXX, Lyn, Lee Seung-gi, and Kim Chang-wan Band will also appear. In the first part, Honey J, xikers, BTOB’s SEO EUN KWANG and Lee Min-hyuk, PARK JI HYUN, Heo Yong-byeol, Song Ga-In, LA POEM, and Kim Young-im delivered diverse performances, and PARK JI HYUN will take the stage again in the second part. ATEEZ is continuing their popularity with the new song ″Drip,″ following the title track ″BAD″ from their recent 14th mini-album, ″Golden Hour: Part 5.″ This Deoksugung performance was completed with the members’ passion despite the cold weather under a cold wave advisory.
