The singer addressed online speculation directly during his U.S. showcase tour, joking that his packed schedule would require Superman-level multitasking.
Ten has directly denied online dating rumors, telling fans at his Houston showcase that he is single and currently seeing no one. The NCT member addressed the speculation during his October 28 performance, local time, choosing to respond himself while speaking to the audience.
According to News1, Ten said he was aware of the “ridiculous” stories circulating online and wanted to make his position clear in front of fans. His response was unequivocal: “I’m completely single. I’m not dating anyone right now.”
He then lightened the moment with a joke about the demands of his schedule, saying that he would have to be Superman to maintain a relationship alongside his current commitments.

Rather than leaving the rumors unanswered, Ten acknowledged that he had seen what was being discussed and used his time onstage to clarify his relationship status. His statement focused on his own circumstances, without identifying another person or elaborating on the claims circulating online.
“If I were dating someone, I’d have to be Superman,” he said, according to News1’s account, before reminding fans how busy his schedule has been.
The exchange placed the denial within an otherwise ongoing concert tour, with Ten responding to a subject outside the music while continuing to meet audiences across the United States. His remarks were a personal statement delivered during the show, rather than a separate written announcement from his company.
The Houston performance is part of the “TEN US SHOWCASE TOUR,” a 14-city run taking the singer across the country through November. The itinerary includes stops in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago and New York, among others.
The tour began in Seattle on October 17, according to the previously announced schedule reported by KBS World. It marks Ten’s first solo U.S. showcase tour and arrives during the tenth anniversary of his debut.
That live schedule follows “OUTWEST,” his September single project, which includes the title track and “IRL.” Promotional materials identified Ten as overseeing the project’s overall production, adding another responsibility to a year that has combined new music with the development of his independent activities.

Ten debuted through NCT U in 2016 and has since performed with WayV and SuperM while developing his own releases. His first solo mini-album, “TEN,” arrived in February 2024, led by “Nightwalker” and accompanied by five additional tracks.
Those releases provide the musical foundation for a tour centered on him as an individual performer. In Houston, however, it was his straightforward answer about his personal life that generated a separate headline: he told the audience that he was single, then used humor to underline just how full his current schedule is.
Editor’s Note: SM Entertainment’s official store lists February 13, 2024, as the release date of Ten’s first mini-album, “TEN,” with “Nightwalker” as its title track. Separately, KBS World’s report on the official U.S. tour announcement places the Seattle opening on October 17, 2026. The dating denial above is attributed to Ten’s onstage remarks as reported by News1; unverified claims about other individuals are not repeated.
