NCT member Yuta is stepping into a completely different spotlight this time as a skilled assassin who can also dance in the action film “Specials“, which officially premieres in Korean theaters on March 13.

Directed by Eiichi Uchida, ‘Specials’ blends action and dance in an unconventional storyline.
The film follows five assassins who infiltrate a dance competition as part of a secret mission. While posing as performers, the group navigates the high energy world of dance while secretly carrying out dangerous assignments. Yuta plays the role of Kiryu, a highly skilled killer who serves as the team’s performance ace. Known for his speed and agility, Kiryu stands out for his precise movements making him perfectly suited for the undercover dance environment.
One of the film’s biggest highlights is how closely the role connects to Yuta’s real-life strengths as a performer.
As a member of NCT, Yuta is known for his powerful stage presence and sharp dance skills, and the movie uses those abilities as part of the character’s identity. The artist also contributed creative ideas to his character’s styling, including hairstyle choices and tattoo makeup, helping shape Kiryu’s visual concept.
To celebrate the release, Yuta will participate in promotional activities in Korea, including stage greetings with co star Sakuma Daisuke, who plays the character Dia. The appearances will give fans a chance to see the NCT star up close as he promotes the film’s Korean premiere.
With “Specials“, Yuta expands his career beyond music, showing audiences a new side of his talent through action-packed storytelling and choreography driven scenes.
