Cha Hyun-seung returned to the stage of ’Waterbomb Seoul 2026’ with Sunmi after being completely cured of leukemia. On the 26th, Waterbomb released a performance video featuring Sunmi and Cha Hyun-seung on their official SNS. The video showed Cha Hyun-seung participating as a dancer for Sunmi on the outdoor global stage at KINTEX in Goyang City, Gyeonggi Province, on the 25th. Cha Hyun-seung announced his leukemia diagnosis and battle through SNS and his YouTube channel in June of last year. After about six months of treatment, he was declared fully cured in December of the same year, stating, ″The seemingly endless battle with illness has come to an end.″ He also revealed that the pain endured during chemotherapy was part of the process that kept him alive.
