Jungkook surpasses 21 million followers on Spotify... fastest Asian artist to reach 11.28 billion streams

BTS Jungkook has surpassed 21 million followers on Spotify personal accounts. He is recorded as the fastest to reach this number among all Asian groups and solo singers. Jungkook has not released a separate personal or solo album since 2023, but he consistently records over 16 million monthly listeners on Spotify. On Spotify’s main chart, the Weekly Top Songs Global section, his first solo song released in 2023, ″Seven,″ stayed on the chart for 154 consecutive weeks, setting the first and longest record among Asian solo singer songs. Additionally, his first solo album ″GOLDEN″ also entered the chart for 142 weeks, making it the only Asian solo singer album to achieve this duration. ″Seven″ was the first song by an Asian artist to surpass 3.03 billion streams, and ″GOLDEN″ exceeded 7.3 billion cumulative streams among full-length albums by Asian artists. Jungkook’s Spotify personal account recorded 11.28 billion streams in the shortest period for an Asian artist and became the first K-pop solo artist to achieve this by combining all credits. Furthermore, with three songs—″Dreamers,″ ″Left and Right,″ and ″Stay Alive″—he became the fastest K-pop solo artist to reach 1 billion streams. ″Seven″ set four world records on the Spotify global chart: the highest weekly streams for a male artist track worldwide with 89,748,171 streams (after filtering), the shortest time to reach 100 million streams (after filtering), and the shortest time to reach 1 billion streams in Spotify history. These records have been officially registered in the UK’s Guinness World Records.
