July 31 Premiere 'Married Woman Killer', Working Mom Gong Hyo-jin Targets Criminals 'Action Begins'

MBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama ″Married Woman Killer″ is set to premiere on July 31 at 9:50 PM, releasing stills featuring the main characters. ″Married Woman Killer″ (written by Kim Eun-hee, directed by Yoon Jong-ho and Kim Ji-hoon) is based on the webtoon of the same name and depicts the story of working mom Yoo Bo-na (played by Gong Hyo-jin) as she takes on the task of punishing criminals. After returning from a three-year parental leave, Yoo Bo-na holds her first client meeting on the rooftop of a church and targets a heinous criminal staying at a hotel across the street for a sniper shot. During this process, she receives support from the members of the Sales Team 3 at Durumi Electronics and is shown equipping Kingfisher’s signature sniper rifle. Yoo Bo-na’s husband, Kwon Tae-sung (played by Jung Joon-won), is a social affairs reporter uncovering the truth behind a new type of drug case. He dives directly into the field, infiltrating nightclubs and persistently questioning at police stations. Stills also reveal Kwon Tae-sung’s dedication to his reporting, even staying out overnight. Additionally, Oh Man-seok (played by Kim Won-hae), who was released on Christmas Day after serving his sentence, appears as Yoo Bo-na’s new target. A tense scene was captured where Oh Man-seok shows a murderous look while sitting across from his daughter and grabs her by the collar. Gong Hyo-jin returns to MBC dramas after 15 years, and Jung Joon-won meets viewers again with ″Married Woman Killer″ about a year after last year’s ″Someday, the Wise Resident Life.″ The production team stated, ″As Kwon Tae-sung digs into the new drug case, he encounters unexpected suspicions. Please watch closely to see how his pursuit of the truth connects with Kingfisher.″ ″Married Woman Killer″ will be broadcast in a total of 14 episodes.
