Lee Hyun-yi owns 100 shares of Samsung Electronics stock, 'forgot about it after buying'

On the 18th episode of SBS variety show ’Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny,’ Lee Hyun-yi revealed that she owns 100 shares of Samsung Electronics stock. In the episode, the couple Lady Jane and Lim Hyun-tae appeared to share updates on raising twins and their stock investments. Lim Hyun-tae said he started investing in stocks due to the irregular income in the entertainment industry, beginning with 5 million won and at one point earning up to 50 million won. He stated, ″I once ranked in the top 3% in returns,″ which Lady Jane explained referred to the top 3% among men in their 30s with seed money under 50 million won. Lim Hyun-tae added, ″I invest carefully and steadily, aiming for 2-3% returns per day.″ Lee Hyun-yi’s ownership of Samsung Electronics stock was revealed during questions from the panel. When Seo Jang-hoon asked if Lee Hyun-yi’s husband, who works at Samsung Electronics, owned any stock, she replied, ″As far as I know, he doesn’t.″ She then said, ″I bought it at 59,000 won. I haven’t sold it. I bought it and forgot about it. I have about 100 shares.″ Additionally, when Seo Jang-hoon asked about her husband’s Samsung Electronics performance bonus, Lee Hyun-yi said, ″My husband is currently at school,″ and added, ″I guess they are still negotiating. I don’t know either.″ Song Jin-woo took the mention of the school her husband attends in a different way, causing laughter on set.
