Jannabi has completed its first Asia tour since debut. According to their agency, Peponi Music, Jannabi concluded the ″Jannabi First Asia Tour ″ with a performance at the JIEXPO Theatre in Jakarta, Indonesia on the 23rd. The tour started in Taipei last June and covered seven cities in seven countries, including Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, and Jakarta. They presented different stages for each city by translating the lyrics of their songs into the local language and covering songs familiar to the local audience. In Taipei, they performed ″Comrades″; in Tokyo, Seiko Matsuda’s ″Sweet Memories″ and Yutaka Ozaki’s ″I Love You″; in Singapore, Kit Chan’s ″Home.″ In Hong Kong, they performed their own song ″Hong Kong.″ The setlist was also varied in Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia. At the performances, it was notable that local fans sang along in Korean to Jannabi’s representative songs such as ″For Hesitant Lovers,″ overcoming language barriers. This was the first time Jannabi connected with fans across Asia through a single tour. Through their agency, Choi Jung-hoon said, ″I never dreamed that so many local fans in each city would be waiting for us. It was a miraculous event, and I am very grateful.″ He also expressed thanks to the fans who have supported the tour from Korea and said, ″I want to repay them with stronger and more meaningful love.″ Jannabi will hold their second solo concert at the KSPO DOME in Olympic Park, Seoul, from October 23 to 25. Following their first performance at KSPO DOME last year with ″All Boys and Girls 2125,″ they will perform again at the same venue. Choi Jung-hoon and Kim Do-hyung previewed the concert, saying, ″We are preparing with a newer and more diverse lineup.″
