Moon Ji-hoon (Swings) makes his acting debut with 'Tazza: The Belzebub's Song'... Screen debut on September 23 following Byun Yo-han's suggestion

Rapper Swings, whose real name is Moon Ji-hoon, has revealed the background of how he began his acting career and came to appear in the film ″Tazza: The Belzebub’s Song.″ Moon Ji-hoon recently appeared on KBS2’s ″The Seasons - Sung Si-kyung’s Eardrum Boyfriend,″ where he shared his journey of challenging himself as an actor. He stated that although he grew up loving movies, he never expected to act himself. He had expressed himself through rap but had a longing for another form of artistic expression. Two years ago, he mustered the courage to start attending an acting academy, and he explained that the reason he released his acting videos was due to his teacher’s recommendation. Despite some negative reactions after releasing the acting videos, contrary to expectations, Moon Ji-hoon said he gained strength from a small number of supporters. Among them, actor Byun Yo-han was reportedly deeply impressed after seeing his videos. Byun Yo-han first came across Moon Ji-hoon’s acting videos through an algorithm during a drinking session with Koo Kyo-hwan and said the videos stayed with him for a week. When the ″Tazza″ team was struggling to find the right actor for a character, Byun Yo-han directly contacted Moon Ji-hoon, leading to his casting in the film. Moon Ji-hoon said he thought nothing would happen for five years even if he started acting, but the opportunity to join a large-scale film came sooner than expected. Byun Yo-han recalled the moment they parted, remembering Moon Ji-hoon’s words, ″It’s a strange night.″ Moon Ji-hoon also looked back on his first film role as something amazing. On the show, Sung Si-kyung conveyed a message of support for Moon Ji-hoon’s new challenge. Meanwhile, Swings posted a photo on his personal channel holding a paper with the program name ″The Seasons - Sung Si-kyung’s Eardrum Boyfriend,″ along with the caption, ″I seriously almost had a panic attack,″ expressing his nervous feelings about promoting his first film. ″Tazza: The Belzebub’s Song,″ starring Swings and Byun Yo-han and directed by Choi Guk-hee, is a crime film about Jang Tae-young (played by Byun Yo-han), who believed he had everything through the online casino business, and his best friend Park Tae-young (No Jae-won), who took everything from him, meeting again on a global gambling stage to engage in a revenge battle. As the final installment of the ″Tazza″ series, it will be released on September 23.
