Jun Hyun-moo and Lee Jun challenge an unplanned new trip on 'This is Hyunmoo Road'... First broadcast on the 20th

MBN’s new variety show ″This is Hyunmoo Road,″ starring Jeon Hyun-moo and Lee Joon, will premiere on the 20th at 10:30 PM. The program is designed with the concept of the two cast members exploring travel destinations on their own without a fixed course, creating their own travel routes. The released teaser video shows Jeon Hyun-moo and Lee Joon heading to unfamiliar places instead of famous tourist spots or pre-planned schedules. Jeon Hyun-moo suggests an impromptu trip, saying, ″We don’t do it that way. Let’s pioneer other places,″ and actively communicates with locals even when language barriers arise, saying, ″If the language doesn’t work, just bump into them!″ At a restaurant, he initiates conversation with a foreign family, and in a taxi, he uses sounds and gestures to get information about good restaurants. Lee Joon also tries to converse in the local language but says, ″It doesn’t work at all,″ when it doesn’t go as planned, which is shown in the teaser. Jeon Hyun-moo explains his own travel style, saying, ″I think it’s really fun to go to places where others don’t go.″ He adds, ″You don’t have to do anything. I just enjoy being in unfamiliar places.″ At a local night market, Jeon Hyun-moo states, ″It’s not about seeing something amazing or having an extraordinary experience. It’s just about throwing myself into an environment that is most different from Korea. That’s how I heal.″ At the end of the first teaser, when Jeon Hyun-moo asks, ″Am I okay as a travel mate?″ Lee Joon replies, ″It was amazing.″ In the second teaser, with Willie Nelson’s ″On the Road Again″ playing in the background, the two are seen mingling with locals, accompanied by the caption, ″We don’t travel along the road. Every path we take becomes a journey.″ Meanwhile, Jeon Hyun-moo recently sparked controversy regarding whether his trip to Kazakhstan, shown on MBC’s ″I Live Alone,″ was pre-planned. In response, the production team apologized, revealing cooperation during filming and advance booking of staff airline tickets. Jeon Hyun-moo currently appears on various variety shows such as ″I Live Alone″ and ″The Manager,″ while Lee Joon is active both as an actor and in variety shows.
