Stray Kids, the first K-pop headliner at 'Rock in Rio'... Embarks on South America stadium tour with 'STRAYCITY'

The new music festival ’STRAYCITY,’ headlined by Stray Kids, will begin on the 9th in Bogotá, Colombia. ’STRAYCITY’ is a festival planned by JYP Entertainment and the American concert promoter Live Nation, centered around Stray Kids, with its name inspired by the group’s name ’Stray.’ The festival will start in Bogotá, followed by Buenos Aires, Argentina on the 14th and 15th, and Mexico City, Mexico on the 25th and 26th, with Stray Kids headlining the stages in each city. Stray Kids have experience headlining major international festivals such as France’s Lollapalooza Paris, Italy’s iDays, the UK’s British Summer Time Hyde Park, the United States’ Lollapalooza Chicago, and New York’s The Governors Ball Music Festival. Additionally, on the 11th, they will perform as the first K-pop artist headliner at the large-scale music festival ’Rock in Rio’ held in Brazil. ’Rock in Rio’ began in 1985 in Rio de Janeiro and has also been held in Lisbon, Portugal; Madrid, Spain; and Las Vegas, USA. World-renowned musicians such as Queen, Guns N’ Roses, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Muse have performed on this stage. Last year, Stray Kids conducted an eight-show stadium tour across five cities in Latin America with their world tour ’dominATE,’ receiving enthusiastic responses from local fans. With their recently released mini-album ’THIS & THAT,’ they achieved their ninth consecutive No. 1 on the US Billboard main album chart, the ’Billboard 200,’ setting a record as the group with the most No. 1 albums in the 21st century. Stray Kids are the only artist to debut at No. 1 on this chart and consecutively enter nine works at No. 1.
