Yun Joon confirmed to appear at the '2026 Global Citizen Festival'... second Korean male soloist after BTS Jungkook

Member Yeonjun will take the stage at the ’2026 Global Citizen Festival’ hosted by Global Citizen. On September 11, BigHit Music announced that Yeonjun confirmed his appearance at the event on the 10th (local time). Following Tomorrow X Together (TXT)’s confirmation as the only Korean artist to perform this year, Yeonjun’s solo stage was also arranged. Yeonjun became the second Korean male solo artist invited to this festival after Jungkook of BTS in 2023. The performance will be held on the 26th at Central Park in New York, USA. The ’Global Citizen Festival’ is a large-scale annual music festival that raises awareness and calls for action on global issues such as extreme poverty eradication, climate change response, and inequality resolution. This year’s stage will feature world-renowned artists including John Legend, Lenny Kravitz, Ms. Lauryn Hill & Wyclef Jean, Lainey Wilson, Shaboozey, Victoria Monét, and YOSHIKI. Yeonjun has recently been expanding his activities in the United States. After releasing his second mini-album ’NO LABELS: PART 02,’ he became the second K-pop solo artist after Jungkook to perform on Good Morning America’s ’Summer Concert Series.’ He also became the first Korean artist to appear at ’Z100’s Summer Bash Presented By Wells Fargo’ and headlined the ’Billboard: One Night Only’ concert at the Troubadour, a small venue in Los Angeles. At the LA Dodgers home stadium, he performed and threw the ceremonial first pitch during the ’Korean Heritage Night’ celebration. Meanwhile, Tomorrow X Together (TXT) will hold their fifth world tour ’STEAL THE WIND,’ starting in Seoul from November 13 to 15, and then touring Asia, Japan, North America, and Europe. The tour name means ’to make the flow my own.’
