15-year-old fan dies ahead of Stray Kids Argentina concert... suspected non-traumatic heart failure

A teenage fan died ahead of Stray Kids’s first concert in Argentina. On the 14th local time, around 7 p.m., a 15-year-old female fan collapsed before entering the ’STRAYCITY’ festival held at the San Isidro racetrack in Buenos Aires Province. She was transported to the hospital but was confirmed dead. The deceased had come to the venue with a 22-year-old family member and was reported to have been waiting overnight since the day before the concert. Her identity has not been disclosed according to the decision of judicial authorities. According to local reports, the fan lost consciousness suddenly while waiting to enter after passing the first ticket check. The on-site emergency team immediately provided treatment, and she was taken by ambulance to San Isidro Central Hospital about 400 meters away but died from cardiopulmonary arrest. An autopsy conducted on the 15th preliminarily concluded the primary cause of death as ″natural death due to non-traumatic heart failure,″ with the final cause to be confirmed after supplementary examination. The San Isidro prosecutor’s office is investigating the exact circumstances. San Isidro city authorities stated that the venue was equipped with emergency response systems necessary for large-scale events, including ambulances, Red Cross personnel, and hydration stations, and that on-site inspections had been conducted. The organizer, DF Entertainment, issued an official statement saying, ″We deeply mourn, are in contact with the bereaved family, and are cooperating with the relevant authorities.″ The second performance on the 15th, the day after the accident, proceeded as scheduled. A memorial notice from the organizer was displayed on the stage screen before the concert, and the audience held a moment of silence to honor the deceased. Stray Kids continues the South American ’STRAYCITY’ tour schedule and is set to perform in Mexico City on the 25th.
