IU donates 200 million on 18th debut anniversary... supporting children, youth, and national veterans

IU donated a total of 200 million KRW to celebrate their 18th debut anniversary. On the 18th, EDAM Entertainment announced that IU had donated 50 million KRW each to the Korea Social Welfare Council, Seoul Rehabilitation Hospital, Heart-Heart Foundation, and Habitat for Humanity Korea. This donation will be used in various fields, including supporting the independence of young adults preparing for self-reliance, rehabilitation treatment for children and adolescents facing economic difficulties, living, educational, and emotional support for young women preparing for independence, and improving the housing environment for national veterans. IU has consistently engaged in donation activities under the name ’IUAENA’ (a combination of IU and the fan club ’U AENA’) on meaningful days such as debut anniversaries, birthdays, and Children’s Day. This year, they donated 100 million KRW for children and adolescents on Children’s Day and 300 million KRW on their birthday in May, bringing the total donations this year to 600 million KRW. Meanwhile, on the 10th, IU released the digital single ″From This Star.″ The single includes two double title tracks, ″From This Star″ and ″Dear my crazy soulmate.″ ″From This Star″ ranked number one on Melon’s ″Hot 100″ chart immediately after its release.
