EXO’s Suho mentioned the leadership of Seventeen S.COUPS and expressed regrets about his own experience as a leader. In the video titled ″If You Debut Again, Should You Be a Leader or Not? The leaders of the four groups shared their experiences and thoughts on the topic ″Being the youngest in another team vs. being the youngest in my own group.″ Eun Ji-won praised S.COUPS’s leadership, saying, ″Here (S.COUPS), it’s like managing a single elementary school class. How did Seventeen manage to renew the contract twice and lead the group?″ Seventeen signed a second contract renewal with Pledis Entertainment last July and had previously signed the first renewal early in 2021. The group attracted attention for having all 13 members renew their contracts without any departures. Myung Jaehyun said about Seventeen, ″They are like a textbook team for juniors.″ S.COUPS responded humbly, ″There are many mistakes, though?″ but Eun Ji-won added, ″No one can judge what is right or wrong, but looking at what you have done so far, that is the answer. Maintaining 13 members for over ten years is not easy.″ Suho shared his concerns as a leader, saying, ″I sometimes regret it. Should I have done it like S.COUPS?″ Eun Ji-won encouraged him, saying, ″You have your own way, and that’s how you have led EXO until now.″ Meanwhile, EXO debuted as a 12-member group in 2012 but reorganized into a 9-member group after Kris, Luhan, and Tao left the team. After unit group ChenBaekXi (Xiumin, Baekhyun, Chen) had conflicts over exclusive contracts, they have been absent from group activities. Currently, EXO is active as a 6-member group.
