Rainy season, 'FREAK' charts on Tencent Music for 100 consecutive weeks... All seats sold out for China concert

Since debuting in 2018 as the Chinese member of (G)I-DLE, Yuqi has built a familiar image among the local audience by appearing as a fixed member on the popular Chinese variety show ″奔跑吧″ (the Chinese version of ″Running Man″). She has also stood out in her music activities. The title track ″FREAK″ from her first mini-album ″YUQ1″ entered the Tencent Music Korea chart in China for 100 consecutive weeks, setting the record for the first and longest charting on that chart. Additionally, both ″FREAK″ and ″Radio (Dum-Dum)″ received gold certification from Tencent Music. She has also proven her ticket power in the performance field. The ″2026 YUQI Fan-Con ’27’″ Guangzhou concert, scheduled for the 11th, sold out approximately 10,000 seats immediately upon ticket release on the 30th of last month. Yuqi plans to continue her fan concerts in major Chinese cities such as Chengdu, Beijing, and Shanghai, starting with Guangzhou. Yuqi will make her solo comeback after about 1 year and 1 month by releasing her second mini-album ″Twenty-Seven (27)″ on the 8th. She directly participated in writing and composing all six tracks on this album, including the title track ″Stay.″
